FAQ

Where will Aura Theory be next?

Meet us at one of our upcoming public events and make sure you  pre book your session to secure your spot.

It’s highly recommended that you book your aura photo well in advance, but the calendar will be open until the morning of the event—provided there are sessions available.

We can’t wait to meet you!

Where are you located?

Aura Theory’s home base is Virginia Beach but we love to travel. We’re more than happy to go anywhere as long as you can get two team members, all equipment, and the yurt there.

How many photos will I get?

For every single booked session, you’ll receive one photo. For double sessions, you’ll receive 3 photos - one of each individual and one together.

Since your aura is ever changing, this doesn’t have to be a one-and-done experience . . . you’re more than welcome to book as many sessions as you’d like over any period of time.

Can more than one person be in a photo?

Yes, we can photograph up to 5 people at a time but please keep in mind that the only auras read will be from the people with hands on the hand plates. Any other people in the photo will impact the aura of those being read, we will see their influence rather than direct energetic field.

Can you photograph pets?

We can photograph you with your pet. We do not currently own the hand plates for pets. Aura Theory is hoping to have fur baby technology in the near future.

Is there an age requirement?

We recommend over 7 but there isn’t a specific age requirement. Please remember hands must be large enough to touch the sensors on the hand plates.

Something to remember about having your child's photo done is that kids tend to be a little wiggly. Your photographer will do their very best to get a clear photo—but sometimes the blurry ones capture the moment just perfectly.

Can I get my aura photo taken when I’m pregnant?

Yes! Aura photography is completely safe for women at any stage of pregnancy. A lot of mamas get photographed with their bump and with their baby after they’re born.
